Martijn started his career at Sioux as a software engineer. He worked in roles as developer and team lead and nowadays he is a software architect. He focuses on translating product vision and goals into successful software.
"I work in multidisciplinary teams, which is great but can sometimes be a major challenge. It really remains a social job. What I find most challenging is working in a team with people from various professional backgrounds, to be on the same page and create a good end product together."
Martijn: "For example, I worked on the software development of an electron microscope. We worked closely with the marketing department on creating a product that really solves problems for the end customer."
"Sioux is like a family. You are not just an FTE or a resource. Sioux shows a genuine interest in you as a person and in further developing your talents. You are part of a larger whole, without losing yourself completely in it."
