Joris Achten has studied Electronics at the KHLim (now UCLL) in Hasselt, Belgium. Two years ago Joris ended up at Sioux in Eindhoven.
He has worked on various projects on different electronics disciplines, from FPGA to analog amplifiers. Currently, Joris is working on the development of an ultra stable power module for an electron microscope.
Joris: "These diverse projects can only be realised if you keep developing yourself. This is stimulated by Sioux through a personal development budget. I can manage this budget myself in order to expand my own growth. The best thing about my job is that i have a new challenge every day, and i can work on highly complex electronics projects."
